I made a logo for a friend's band for his birthday, and this is what it looked like!

Kay so I really like this.  Best layout I think I've ever done...  :D

Shadows!

I feel as though I really like painting with shadows and highlights. I like it a lot.

Also decided I wanted to do an homage to to this awesome old Dracula poster, which I like a lot.

So despite how poorly other things have been going, I've been creating some work I'm fairly proud of.

From now on...

So I just talked to the writer, and he wants to post this online once we're done.  So as a result I've decided it's counter-intuitive to post everything online in poor resolution right now.  So I'll post sketches and minor updates, but not full pages anymore.  In about 3 months, when it's done, I'll post where to see it.  Thanks!

It's so strange how some pages take me a week and a half to finish, and others you just blow through in a couple hours.  I mean, it's not done yet, but it's nice to see some progress in a timely manner.  Boy be catchin' his girl messin' around.

This one went by a lot faster, just because I realized that a good pencil drawing saves hours and hours in the end.

So I've been working with someone for a few years on a comic book idea, and I'm trying to nail it down.  I spent a couple days on this first panel, and I'm hoping that it doesn't end up looking like a piece of crap.  Here's hoping!
